Any fashionista would be excited about the chance to pose in a gorgeous bridal shoot. But for model Madeline Stuart, this marks a particularly momentous occasion.
Stuart, who has Down syndrome, has already made headlines all over the world for her runway shows and ad campaigns. But now that she is starring in a photo series of wedding gowns at the popular wedding venue Rixey Manor, it takes the meaning of her groundbreaking--and beautiful--work to a whole new level.

We think Isadora Martin-Dye, who owns the wedding venue, said it best.
"A lot of newly engaged women cannot see themselves as a bride because all the images magazines use are of these tall, thin models," Martin-Dye said. "I think that being a bride is a life experience that every woman should be able to see herself doing, and definitely not stressing about the fact that they won't look 'perfect' on their wedding day."
We couldn't agree more!
