Create fun summer memories with the little ones in your life with these adorable and simple reminders of God's unwavering love!
Step 1: For each, arrange three corks side by side to form the base of the boat; attach them by stretching two bright rubber bands around the cork trio. Optional: Add a dot of glue between corks.
Step 2: Cut a skewer and a pretty paper straw to 5 inches and press the skewer into the center of the middle cork. Then slip the straw over the skewer, forming the sail's colorful pole.
Step 3: For the sail, cut a 3"-long rectangle out of a piece of scrapbook paper and punch a hole at the top and bottom. Use a marker or a paint pen to write a quote, like the one shown (inspired by Psalm 93:4) on the front of the sail. Pinch the paper (to form the curve of the sail) and slide it onto the straw.
Step 4: Cut a small triangle out of ribbon or paper to form the flag. Attach the flag to the top of the straw with a dab of glue. Let dry, then float the boats in a water-filled bowl, sink or tub.
