Rainstorms are usually associated with feelings of sadness and anger. But as a beautiful storm from Gladstone, Australia shows, this shouldn't always be the case.
The rural region had been suffering from a drought, which has been just the start of what will be a very hot summer. So God knew just what to do. As can be seen in the stunning photograph, He brought glorious rain to a place that desperately needed it in the midst of dryness and overbearing heat. So the heavens literally opened up in the best way possible, and this did not go unnoticed.
Observer Grazier Viv Pengelly described the rain in the area as "marvelous." He added, "This rain has been a godsend."
We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
