In a viral Facebook post, Laura wrote to her son, "Tonight, after bedtime, when you came out of your room for the fourth time... I was so close to being mad. My patience was worn thin."
But then her 9-year-old little boy looked up at her and asked her a simple question.
"Mom, can you sing me a song?"
Thinking that his days of songs before bedtime were already long gone, Laura was floored. But it served a great reminder to her that childhood only lasts so long. She was immediately inspired to cherish it while it lasts.
