Even the most well-adjusted young women can have a tough time in high school. There's so much pressure to look good all the time and be liked by as many people as possible. Recognizing the serious toll that can take on students, a group of seniors at Trinity Academy in Wichita, KS, did something unprecedented: They covered the mirrors in the girls' bathroom with plain, brown paper and wrote powerful messages on it to make pupils realize how beautiful and loved they are.

The notes include bible verses, reminders that God loves them, passages from literature, and even quirky quotes, like how people are like Oreos: The good stuff is on the inside. School administrators were so proud of what the students did that they posted the photos of the now-covered bathroom mirrors on their Facebook page.
The school also tweeted out praise for the young women, naming them the students of the week.
