New Orleans, LA—At first glance, the illuminated section of Charity Hospital in New Orleans is eerie. After all, its closing coincided with Hurricane Katrina striking in 2005. But upon closer inspection, it appears the light may be a reminder of Jesus's love.
According to TheEpochTimes.com, Lisa Walley Staggs who works and parks at Tulane Medical Center across the street from the abandoned hospital was able to tell that the strange brightness is the result of a Christmas tree!
"I don’t know how it’s lit. I don’t know how it’s even in there, but it made me smile just a little bit tonight!”
Fellow Tulane employee Mike Arbon shared photos of the lit-up window on Facebook, and they've since gone viral. “It gave me chills when I saw it and of course made me think of my brother, who passed away at charity hospital. But a very nice sight to see in the window of a dark building.”
No word yet on how the Christmas tree got there, but it's certainly bringing some hope to the city.
