2 (36" x 3") craft-store wood panels Purple craft paint Wood glue White faux flowers 6" grapevine wreath 6" x 20 yd. tulle Floral wire
1. Cut one wood panel to 20 inches and the other to 16 inches. Affix the panels using wood glue to form a cross; apply a coat of purple paint and let dry.
2. Tie tulle around the top of the cross and wrap around until you reach the center. Cut tulle from roll; knot in the back of the cross. Repeat on the remaining 3 sections. Form an X with tulle on the center of the cross; knot in back. Cut remaining tulle into 6" x 2" strips and weave 3 to 5 strips under each band of wrapped tulle so ends flare; repeat until the cross is covered.
3. Loop a grapevine wreath over the cross, then secure with floral wire in the back, as shown. To finish, weave faux flowers through the wreath, and attach a wire loop in the back to hang.
