Creating this glorious garland is a sweet way to spend time with little ones and focus on the reason for the season
- 8 three-inch clothespins
- 16 four-inch paper doilies
- Glittery white paint
- Scrapbook paper
- Marker (black, pink)
- 4 silver pipe cleaners
- Hot-glue gun
Step 1: To create each angel, start by laying a clothespin down on a sheet of newspaper. Then add two coats of glittery white craft paint on all sides of the pin using a thin brush. Let dry fully.
Step 2: Gather the sides of a 4" white paper doily and pinch in the center. Clip clothespin onto the center of the “wings,” as shown. Snip a pipe cleaner to 2" and bend into a halo shape. Glue to the top back of the clothespin.
Step 3: Snip a circle out of scrapbook paper for the face. Then draw on eyes, a mouth and cheeks using black and pink markers. Hot glue the face to the top front of the clothespin. Clip to a ribbon garland.
