A mom in England is trying to find a man who may have saved her son's life.
Lynn Black Bell was shocked when her son Joshua told her the harrowing story of his walk home from a train station. The 19-year-old said he was followed by two young men that tormented him and threw things at him. They even threatened to stab him at one point.
But then, an angel came in the form of a taxi driver. Joshua said the driver swerved his car across the road to keep the men on the street from attacking him. Soon after, the driver opened his car and said "Get in."
He drove Joshua all the way home to keep him safe and would accept no fare.
"When Joshua told me about the taxi driver, I was so touched," Lynn said. "So I went on Facebook because I wanted to track him down and thank him."
She hasn't been able to connect with the driver yet, but she remains hopeful that they will be able to meet so she can thank him properly.
"I’d like to show my appreciation for what he did for my son, something to treat his own family, to acknowledge how he helped mine when so many others would have just driven past," she said.
