WJHG Channel 7 News, reported that Roberta Ursrey and her family were enjoying a day at Panama City Beach, FL, when she heard her two sons Stephen, 8 and Noah, 11 screaming that they were “stuck” far out in the ocean.
When Roberta realized the boys were caught in a rip current, she swam out to help, but quickly found herself a victim to the current as well. When her husband, nephew and 67 year old mother all went out to help, they also ended up in the same predicament.
Just when they thought all was lost, 80 kind beachgoers gathered together to form a human chain to save them.
