This "stained glass" sun catcher craft will remind the little sweethearts in your life that during dark times, they can always find His radiance and comfort in their hearts.
- Tissue paper (in pink, red and white hues)
- Gold scrapbook paper
- Clear contact paper
- Thin red ribbon
- Scissors and tape
Step 1: To make each sun catcher, cut sheets of pink, red and white tissue paper into ½" squares. Fold a sheet of gold paper in half and cut out a heart shape. While the heart is folded, make a parallel cut 1" inside the heart, forming a frame.
Step 2: Open up the folded heart frame and center it on a piece of clear contact paper, sticky side up. Press the squares of tissue paper onto the sticky contact paper until covered.
Step 3: Once the center of the heart is covered with paper squares, stick another sheet of contact paper over the heart; cut away excess contact paper. Cut ribbon, tape it behind the heart then hang on or near a window using tape. Jot a verse (like 2 Cor. 4:6) onto a small heart attached to a larger heart.
