Supplies
- 1 wooden shadow box
- 2 sheets of blue paper
- Hot-glue gun
- 1 sheet of orange paper
- 1 sheet of green paper
- Roll of twine
- Black and blue paint pens
- Photos and mementos
Step 1: Cut one or two pieces of bright blue paper to fit the interior of your box. (You may need to overlap two pieces neatly for full coverage.) Add a few dots of hot glue to the paper and press into the box, smoothing with your hands.
Step 2: Snip the yellow and green paper into shapes to create a sun and rays, then glue to the blue paper; let dry. Write "God's word is a light for my path" (inspired by Psalm 119:105) on the sun using a blue pain pen or marker.
Step 3: Cut two lengths of twine to fit across the box, plus 1 inch. Cut 15 small triangles out of the orange paper; glue the triangles to the twine, creating a banner. Jot "Blessed memories" on the banner, then glue the ends of the twine to the blue paper. Hot-glue shells, photos, tickets and other mementos to the blue paper. Let dry, then display.
