Karen Burt didn't realize until she got into Meijer's that she had accidentally parked on the wrong side of the store. As in, the side that closes at 10 p.m. Since it was well after that time, Burt realized she'd have to walk all the way around the store in the dark--alone.
On top of that, she realized she left her money in her car. So she couldn't even pay for her items before stepping out into the parking lot. So she started to walk out.
But then, an older female employee, by the name of Doris B., got in her way. And for the best reason.
She said, "Honey, let me watch you walk out to your car to make sure you're safe!"
And that's just what Doris B. did. She stood outside and waited until Burt moved her car to the other entrance so that she could pay for her items.
In a viral Love What Matters post, Burt wrote, "This may not mean much to you, but Doris B. you really made my day! The world needs many more people like you!"
We couldn't agree more.
