Spend together time with the little lights of your life as you craft this celestial mobile inspired by Psalm 147:4. It acts as a beautiful reminder that Jesus knows and cherishes the unique light in each and every one of us.
- Foam sheets (in blue, white, purple and green hues)
- Star-shaped cookie cutter
- White ribbon
- 10" floral hoop
- Rolls of tulle (in purple, white and blue)
Step 1: Cut about four dozen 2" stars out of foam. Then use a 5" star-shaped cookie cutter to trace a bigger star onto purple foam and cut out; write out Psalm 147:4 on this star with a marker. Write loved ones’ names on the smaller stars.
Step 2: To make the streamers, cut 12 pieces of white ribbon to lengths between 16 and 20 inches and tie each onto the hoop, spacing evenly. Glue the large purple star onto its own streamer; glue five small stars onto each of the other streamers.
Step 3: Next, snip rolls of tulle to 3" lengths. Knot pieces of tulle around the hoop until it is covered. Optional: Brush glue onto stars and sprinkle on glitter; let dry.
Step 4: Cut three 12" lengths of ribbon; tie one end of each to the hoop. Hold the loose ends up, tie together and hang from hook.
