Make cherished memories with the little ones in your life as you create this sweet lamb from sticks of butter. Place it in the center of your Easter dinner table as you gather to lift grateful, loving hearts to Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
- 2 sticks very cold butter
- Paring knife
- 2 peppercorns
Optional, for garnish:
- Faux blooms
Total time: 30 minutes
Step 1: Start by unwrapping a stick of chilled butter and set it atop a plate. Then use a paring knife (or a butter knife) to cut a ½" to 1" cube from the stick of butter.
Step 2: Stack the cube atop one end of the stick; press down lightly to secure it in place. From the second stick of butter, cut 3 small triangles (2 for the ears, 1 for the nose).
Step 3: Press ears and nose onto cube. For “wool,” grate the second butter stick and place on the lamb. Add peppercorn eyes. Display on a plate with parsley and faux blooms.
