When little Emily got bullied for wearing glasses, she decided to use social media in 2014 to speak out against what happened to her. She partnered up with The Bully Project, an anti-bullying campaign, to share a Facebook post urging people to share if they were against what happened to her (and countless other kids).
As you can see, more than 4 million people have shared the picture since it was first posted, showing that many are willing to stand in solidarity. And more importantly, it shows that many are committed to positive change.
Now, Emily has followed up her brave message by doing a new video with the empowering message, "I Wear Glasses and I'm Proud." As she should be!
