The newly widowed woman from Vancouver, WA, probably wasn't expecting this type of service when she stopped by the Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru over the weekend. Her husband, only 37, had died the night before, and it's safe to say she was only looking for a coffee.
But when she placed her order, she broke down--and the Dutch Bros servers sprang to action. The moment was captured on camera by the woman waiting in the car behind, Barbara Danner, who then posted the photo and story on Facebook.
"When the DB guys & gals noticed she was falling apart, they stopped everything and prayed with her for several minutes, invited her to come back for prayer and support, as well as anything else that she might need," she wrote. She added a plea for more prayers for the young family, as well as an invitation to stop by a Dutch Bros for coffee.
People soon chimed in with their own heartwarming Dutch Bros stories. It seems that the servers and waitstaff are known throughout the west coast as being awesome--and showing love when it's needed the most.
